We were learning all about Viking trading in term 2.  We looked at the countries involved in trading goods with each other and set up a viking market to have a go for ourselves.  We each became one of 7 countries.  We made items to trade and created a poster to advertise our goods.  In the hall we set up stalls and spent some time trading.  We learnt how to spot a good deal and how to haggle to get the best price.

Our market was truely bustling and we had a great time!
