Maths in real life contexts

Last week we were learning to use our division skills in a real life situation.

We were in small groups and we had to plan for a trip to Aberdeen.

We knew the total cost for 4 people to complete each activity and we had to work out how much we would have to pay each.

We also had to work out which activities we could then afford to do based on our groups budget.

We had fun completing this task and we know how to make use of our skills in similar situations now.
