Experimenting with Wind Power

Last week we learned all about the production of wind power.  We recreated a mini wind farm in our classroom using a fan and a mini wind turbine.  Our device showed us how the turbine works and how much electricity it is collecting.

The pupils were given time in small groups to experiment with the equipment.  Some of the boys filmed their time and explained what was happening.
