Saying Goodbye and Saying Hello!

Finally, after a few weeks back at school we are getting round to updating the blog!  We have, of course, moved into our new school which we all think is great! Here is the final photo of P6 in their old classroom.  They were sad to leave but also really excited to have a brand new school and classroom!

Over the last few weeks the class have been settling in to their new classroom, getting to know Miss Shearer and getting used to their new surroundings.  Here's some photos of an instructions task as part of a writing lesson which involved writing instructions for someone else in the class on how to tie their shoelaces!  It really helped everyone to think about how detailed their instructions had to be.

 The class have also started their new project - 'The Victorian's'.  We spent time thinking about what it was they wanted to learn as part of their project and they have come up with some really excellent learning questions - hopefully they will all be answered through the project!  Last week we foccused on the life of Queen Victoria.  Here are some pictures of the class working on their Poster Challenge.

Now that we are into our routine we will be updating the blog more regularly so keep checking back for more pictures and information about what is happening in P6!
