Writing a For and Against Report

Wind Power Production



Not long ago we completed another for and against report.  We were trying really hard to remember the skills we picked up in term 2 within this type of writing. 

First we had to find suitable information for our report.

Then we had to decide whether each statement was positive or negative.  We began to use the words 'advantage' and 'disadvantage' of wind power.

We were given the chance to organise our information in a style of our own choice.

Some of us chose to cut up each statement and paste the advantages together and disadvantages together.  Some even used coloured card to do this.

Other chose to use ticks and crosses or red and green dots. 

We discovered that there is lots of suitable ways to organise information.
