Estimating and Measuring Capacity

During the last week of term we had a lot of fun in the water tray.

We were exloring capacity and used lots of different containers to estimate and measure in litres and millilitres.

We explored containers of different shapes which held the same amount.  It was sometimes surprising which containers held the same amount as they looked so different. 

We will be revisiting this maths topic in term 4.
