Morse Code
This week we will be learning about Morse Code.  This was a system of dots and dashed which used to represent letters and numbers.  This allowed messages to be sent over long distances before the days of mobile phones and email.

Have a go at learning the codes and try to send a message.

REMEMBER - people trained in using Morse Code had to be able to send and understand messages really quickly.  This meant they had to memorise the codes.
How good is your memory?
Test it out with Game 1 and 2!!!

Imagine you were on duty on the Titanic on 10th April 1912.  It is your job to send out the distress call.  What would you have said?  Try it out in morse code?
