Alien Investigation
Last week when we came back from Art we found a mysterious package in our classroom.
With further investigation we discovered a 'Top Secret' letter from M15 giving us details of a recent scientific discovery in our local area! An alien discovery!!!
We were asked to complete an alien investigation to find out more about this alien.
We thought of how to do this and there were many suggestions.
We decided that it would be better if we kept the alien alive so we could continue to get information from it, so rather than disecting it we would try to communicate with it instead.
We split into groups and worked on our questioning skills.
Each group had a different topic to cover, including homelife, species, spacecraft and reasons for visiting Earth.
Most groups were able to identify the need for questions that gave more than a simple yes or no answer - this way we would get much more information from the alien, especially as each group were only allowed 5 questions each!
Next week we will try to get answers to our questions to see how successful our questioning skills are.
Here we are working on our questions...
What would you have asked?
